The incident occurred just hours before the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics, held last Friday in the French capital. The French authorities announced, today, that the high-speed train traffic has returned to normal, after three days of coordinated acts of sabotage that caused widespread chaos at stations before the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics. A French police source said that an activist belonging to the "extreme left" was arrested yesterday, Sunday, at a site belonging to the national railway company "SNCF" in the northwest of the country. The suspect was found in possession of "ke ys to the company's technical centers" as well as pamphlets linked to far-left groups, the source added.
