Weather Bureau Warns Poor Horizontal Visibility Offshore

Doha: Weather inshore tonight until 6:00 am on Friday will be mild and hazy at places later, the Department of Meteorology stated in its daily weather report. Offshore, conditions are expected to become hazy with some clouds, transitioning to misty and foggy later, with a warning of poor horizontal visibility in certain areas.

According to Qatar News Agency, inshore winds will predominantly be northeasterly to southeasterly at speeds of 03 to 12 KT. Offshore winds will also maintain a northeasterly to southeasterly direction with the same speed range. Visibility is anticipated to range from 4 to 9 KM.

The sea state is reported to be relatively calm, with inshore waters measuring 1 to 2 FT, while offshore waters are expected to range from 1 to 3 FT. The report includes tidal information for various areas: Doha will experience high tides at 07:17 and 22:34, and low tides at 03:11 and 15:11. Other areas such as Wakrah, Al Khor, Ruwais, and Dukhan have their respective high and low tide timings, with sunrise and sunset occurring at 05:21 LT and 17:51 LT, respectively.
