Doha: The latest WhatsApp beta update for iOS gives users the ability to add and switch between multiple accounts on a single device, according to WABetaInfo. This new feature aims to enhance user convenience by allowing seamless management of personal and work accounts without the need for multiple devices.
According to Qatar News Agency, WhatsApp is actively developing this feature to enable users to add and manage multiple accounts within the app. It is expected to be rolled out in a future update, offering flexibility for iOS users who juggle various responsibilities and communications.
Users will have two options when adding a new account to their app. They can either set up the device as a primary account by starting fresh or opt for a more straightforward approach by scanning a QR code to link the new account as a companion. This flexibility ensures that both new and existing users can easily integrate additional accounts into their WhatsApp experience.
The update is currently available for beta testers through Apple’s TestFlight program. This testing phase allows users to explore the new feature and provide feedback, helping refine the functionality before its official release.
