Manama, Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty's Representative for Humanitarian Affairs and Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, the 13th edition of Youth City 2030 commenced on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Youth City 2030 is organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs in collaboration with Labour Fund (Tamkeen) as a strategic partner. Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, the Minister of Youth Affairs, visited Youth City 2030 at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre and reviewed the preparations for the event and its goals of empowering and qualifying youth for the labor market. This year, Youth City 2030 is offering 4,000 training opportunities in 148 programmes over six weeks, with morning programmes for 9-14 year-olds and evening programmes targeting 15-35 year-olds. This year, Youth City 2030 is offering over 100 new professional training programmes across five centres, aimed at discovering and empowering Bahraini youth talent to excel and become the preferred choice in the labour market.
