Manama, Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, the Minister of Youth Affairs, signed a cooperation agreement with Dr. Najma Taqi, the President of the Arab Open University (AOU). The minister said that this agreement would serve as a shared platform for both parties to advance their mutual interest in empowering Bahraini youth, discovering, refining, and showcasing their talents, and enhancing their prospects for leadership in the future. The agreement would give students of the AOU the opportunity to participate in events, activities, and competitions organised by the ministry or its affiliated entities. It also includes provisions for the joint implementation of youth-related research projects and enables participation in the university's programmes and events for youth up to the age of 35. Additionally, the agreement allows young members of private organisations working in the youth field to benefit from the university's facilities. Source : Bahrain News Agency
