Kuwait: Ukrainian authorities announced Sunday that 16 people were injured as a result of Russian attacks and airstrikes targeting several areas in Ukraine. Ukrainian news agency (Ukrinform) said that eight people were injured in the Kharkiv region as a result of Russian shelling, while another person was injured in a drone attack in the Sumy Oblast.
According to Qatar News Agency, in Kherson, Russian forces launched several strikes targeting infrastructure, injuring seven people and causing damage to a number of buildings and homes.
Since the outbreak of the war, both Russia and Ukraine have issued near-daily reports on the course of the fighting and the affected areas. However, due to the ongoing war and the nature of the conflict, these statements are often released by the two sides without independent verification.
