Two Killed, Five Injured in Israeli Attacks on Southern Lebanon

Kuwait: The Israeli occupation army continued attacks on southern Lebanon on Sunday, in violation of the ceasefire agreement. Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported that an Israeli airstrike targeted an ambulance station in the town of Qlawiya, killing one person and wounding three others.

According to Qatar News Agency, another airstrike on an ambulance station in the Ain al-Zarab area of Majdal Selm resulted in the death of a paramedic and injuries to two others. The occupation army also intensified artillery shelling on al-Nabatieh and its surrounding areas, with artillery targeting Kafr Rumman roundabout and the vicinity of the power station supplying the town, with four shells recorded landing in the area.

Shelling also extended to the Kafr Jouz area, with several shells reported landing near the Women's Advancement Association and Qasr al-Rihan Road. Meanwhile, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health said that one person was killed, and 13 others were injured as a result of an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon.

The ceasefire agreement came into effect on April 16 for a period of 10 days before being extended on April 24 for an additional three weeks.
