Kyiv: Ukrainian authorities announced Monday that three people were killed and five others injured in several Russian airstrikes on Ukraine.
According to Qatar News Agency, Ukrainian news agency (Ukrinform) reported that Russian forces launched 785 airstrikes on the Kherson region, resulting in the deaths of two people and injuries to two others. A separate Russian attack on the Zaporizhzhia Oblast killed one person and injured three others, in addition to damaging several residential buildings.
The Russian-Ukrainian war, which began in February 2022, has been marked by intermittent diplomatic efforts led by various international actors, but a comprehensive political settlement remains elusive, as military operations and exchanges of attacks between the two sides continue.
