An earthquake measuring 4.8 magnitude on the Richter scale struck Wednesday the Kermadec Islands off the coast of New Zealand. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported. There have been no reports of casualties or material losses due to the earthquake. The Kermadec Islands often experience strong earthquakes, the last of which was in March 2023, with a magnitude of 5.5. Source: Qatar News Agency
