Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday up as the All Share Index gained 35.54 points to reach 8,906.53 points, an increase of 0.40 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 631.19 million shares valued at KWD 132.6 million (roughly USD 405.7 million) were traded via 33,326 transactions. The Main Market Index rose by 25.85 points or 0.30 percent to reach 8,602.02 points. This index saw 425.8 million shares traded through 21,126 transactions, with a value of KWD 66.6 million (roughly USD 203.7 million).

The Premier Market Index also experienced an upturn, gaining 39.46 points or 0.42 percent to reach 9,433.51 points. The trading volume for this index was 205.3 million shares, executed through 12,200 transactions, and valued at KWD 65.9 million (roughly USD 201.6 million).

Meanwhile, the Bourse Main 50 Index increased by 64.60 points or 0.69 percent to reach 9,477.83 points. This happened through a stock volume of 335.9 million shares done in 16,047 deals, with a value of KWD 53.14 million (roughly USD 162.6 million).
