4.9-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Oaxaca in South-West Mexico.

An earthquake measuring 4.9 magnitude on the Richter scale struck the state of Oaxaca, southwestern Mexico. The US Geological Survey (USGS) said that the tremor occurred 34 km from the city of Santa Gertrudis Miramar, Oaxaca, at a depth of 35 km. So far, there have been no reports of material damage or human loss as a result of the tremor. In September 2017, a powerful earthquake hit Mexico City and the neighboring states of Morelos and Puebla, killing 370 people. Source: Qatar News Agency
