An earthquake measuring 5.1 magnitude on the Richter scale struck islands of Vanuatu, located in the South Pacific Ocean, on Thursday. The US Geological Survey said that the quake occurred 100 km south of Luganville, at a depth of 10 km. No casualties or material losses were reported.
