Basra Police arrested a foreign worker who stole 100 million dinars from a citizen's house in the Shatt al-Arab District. The Basra Governorate Police Command stated in a statement that a working team under the supervision of the Police Commander, Major General Latif Abdul-Ridha Al-Saad, and the Director of the Crime Control Department in Basra and the Shatt Al-Arab Crime Control Division, was working to collect information and investigate the case. After conducting the necessary investigations, it was concluded that the domestic woman worker, who is of Nigerian nationality, was the one who carried out the theft of 100 million Iraqi dinars from the home of a citizen in the Shatt al-Arab district and she was arrested.
