Today, Sunday, the Border Ports Authority announced the arrest of a foreign traveler and seized in his possession a narcotic substance at Zurbatiya border crossing.

The authority stated in a statement: "The authority continues to seize drugs and prevent their passage through the ports, as a foreign traveler was caught with narcotic (opium) in his possession"

It added, "The seizure process was carried out by the Anti-Narcotics Division, the Port Protection Force, and the Customs Police Drug Detachment in the arrivals hall."

It continued, "A committee was formed, a formal seizure report was organized, and the accused was referred to Badra Drug Control Division to take appropriate legal measures."/ End
