A number of fellow journalists were injured as a result of the fall of a beam while covering the laying of the foundation stone for the water city in the holy city of Karbala.
The Head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate branch in Karbala, colleague Hussein Al-Shammari, told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that the branch follows up the condition of colleagues in Al-Husseini General Hospital and secures all the requirements for their treatment.
He added that the injuries are not serious, and they consist of bruises and minor wounds, and they have been medicated, and it is hoped that they will leave the hospital in the coming hours./ End
