The governor of Diyala said in a press conference that those involved in the embezzlement are employees of the accounts department, and the process began withdrawing sums from 2019 until they were arrested weeks ago, pointing out that 'all those involved had arrest warrants issued against them.' He added that investigations are continuing and we have identified the real criminals and two of the five involved have been arrested.
