The head of the Popular Mobilization Commission, Faleh Al-Fayyad, affirmed: "The Popular Mobilization Forces are an important and essential military force in preserving the security and stability of Nineveh."

Al-Fayyad said in his speech at the security conference in Nineveh: "The fatwa of the jihad drew the features of the new Iraq," pointing out: "Iraq was subjected to a crisis that almost overthrew its future before the religious authority mobilized it."

He continued: "Our blessed PMF crystallizes from this province in drawing the features of the new Iraq, and that Iraq makes its future with its own hands and does not beg for its freedom from anyone."

Al-Fayyad stressed the continuation of devoting separation between the PMF and other entities.

Al-Fayyad said: "We are in the process of confirming the final structure of the Popular Mobilization Commission, and we have finished presenting a draft of service and retirement for the members of the PMF."

He added: "The PMF has become the artery of unity among the Iraqi people."
