QNL Debuts Interactive Booth at 35th Doha International Book Fair

Doha: Qatar National Library (QNL) is set to captivate attendees at the 35th Doha International Book Fair with its innovative and interactive booth, combining technology with storytelling and cultural heritage. The event, scheduled to take place from May 14 to 23, 2026, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), promises an engaging experience for all visitors.

According to Qatar News Agency, QNL will unveil its "Library4You" campaign, an extension of the existing "QNL4ALL" identity, designed to showcase how the library's offerings are tailored to meet the needs of a broad audience. The booth will feature a range of technology-driven activities, including an AI-powered "Literary Twin" experience. This unique feature analyzes participants' reading preferences and storytelling styles to match them with an author whose literary voice resonates with their personality, culminating in an introduction to the library's "Book Match" service.

Visitors can also participate in the "Free Knowledge Shopping Spree," a digital interactive activity that allows users to explore library services and curate a personalized selection of resources, highlighting the free membership benefits. For younger attendees, the "Dream Big: The Hero is You" activity offers children the opportunity to create personalized stories featuring their names and photos as part of the library's "Ready for School" initiative.

The booth will prominently feature elements of Qatari and Arab cultural heritage, including a "Did You Know" history wall and a showcase of the journeys of renowned Arab explorer Ibn Battuta. Furthermore, the library's Aerial Photography Collection, comprising high-resolution images from 55 flights between 1944 and 1983, will be on display.

The exhibition aims to present QNL's extensive offerings, such as multilingual resources, heritage archives, children's programs, learning initiatives, and special facilities for individuals with special needs, including a sensory room. Adding a touch of fun, the library's mascot, Ramlly, will make scheduled appearances throughout the event.

QNL encourages all visitors to explore its booth, register for a free membership, and download its mobile app to stay updated during the book fair.
