Al-Hakim praises the move to restore diplomatic missions between Riyadh and Tehran

The Head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, praised the move to restore diplomatic missions between Riyadh and Tehran.

A statement by Al-Hakim's office stated: The head of the National Wisdom Movement met today with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baghdad, Muhammad Kazem Al Sadiq, and exchanged views with him on developments in the political scene in Iraq and the region, bilateral relations and issues of common concern.

Al-Hakim praised the move to restore the role of diplomatic missions between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, calling for the continuation of cooperation to resolve all outstanding issues.

He stressed that the stability of the region is in the interest of all, indicating that the presence of countries in this region is an inevitable destiny and that everyone should meet in interests and commonalities to enable peoples to invest in the resources of their countries and enjoy them.

Al-Hakim stressed: the importance of coordinating positions on issues of common concern, as facing challenges requires a regional system in which everyone joins efforts to achieve the public interest.
