Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed that this Summer is the harshest season in the history of the Iraqi state.

He said in a meeting with representatives of a number of Iraqi satellite channels that water resources for the first time recorded numbers with such a decrease in the reserve of water.

He added that the Iranian side had a large number of launches in the Karun River.

He continued: We were able to double water releases from Turkey 20 days before the Arbaeen visit.

He said: We will present a plan for radical, strategic solutions to address the water issue in all its aspects.

He added: We need optimal investment in water, and there is a flaw in its management.
