The Prime Minister, Mohamed Shiaa Al-Sudani, received today, Thursday, the Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Jihad Eddin Belkas.

Al-Sudani stressed, according to a statement by his media office, the importance of bilateral relations between Iraq and Algeria, the mutual desire to enhance joint cooperation at various levels and fields, and the importance of resuming the meetings of the joint bilateral committee, "noting that the positions that bring together the two countries are identical positions in many Arab and regional files.".

For his part, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and Prime Minister Ayman bin Abdelrahman to Al-Sudani, and emphasized the Algerian government's desire to consolidate relations and cooperation in various bilateral fields between the two brotherly countries.
