Southern Lebanon: At least one person was killed and seven others injured in Israeli occupation attacks on southern Lebanon on Monday. A Lebanese Ministry of Health statement said the attacks targeted people while returning to their towns that are still under occupation.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Israeli forces were due to pull out of border villages and towns in southern Lebanon on Sunday, January 26 under the November 27 ceasefire deal. A White House statement announced that the deal would continue to be in effect until February 18, 2025.
