The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned the tearing up of copies of the Holy Quran by extremist groups in front of a number of embassies in the Dutch city of The Hague.
A Foreign Affairs Ministry statement reiterated the call to stop such hateful provocative actions, as they constitute incitement to hostility and religious and racial hatred, and contradict international efforts aimed at promoting the values of tolerance, peaceful coexistence, and mutual respect between peoples and cultures.
