Basra, Bahrain national football team qualified for the semifinal round in the Arabian Gulf Cup (Gulf 25) after securing its lead in the second group after a draw with Kuwait.

The national team raised its tally to seven points to qualify to face the Omani team in the semifinals next Monday, while our team qualified, accompanied by Qatar team, after finishing second in the group with four points after a 1-1 draw with the UAE, to meet Iraq, the leaders of Group A in the semi-finals.
