The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, today, Sunday, thanked the Prime Minister of the Federal Council, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, for the agreement on the salaries of the region’s employees.

The media office of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government stated in a statement that, “This afternoon, Barzani held a telephone call with Al-Sudani, during which he expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Prime Minister of the Federal Council for his support in reaching an agreement on the issue of salary recipients in the Kurdistan Region.”

He added, "The Prime Minister expressed his hope that this agreement would be the basis for resolving the outstanding problems between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government, through dialogue and in accordance with the constitution and signed agreements."
