The Basra Operations Command denied today that the international highway (Sidra checkpoint) was cut off by the demonstrators towards Basra.

The leadership stated in a statement, "the news, circulating on social media platforms that the demonstrators blocked the international highway (Sidra's checkpoint) is not true" indicating: "The road is passable back and forth in front of the movement of vehicles and citizens, and things are taking place naturally under the supervision and control of our forces."
