Damascus, Chemical industry companies specializing in manufacturing car oils, engines and cables seek to open new export outlets in foreign markets, reaching their products with standard specifications to various countries of the world through participation in Expo Syria 2024, which is currently being held at Damascus Fairground. Director-General of Damascus Petrochemical Refinery Company, Samer Abu Ammar pointed out that the company's participation in the exhibition comes as part of the importance of the Syrian product to restore its brilliance once again, having been absent from the international arena as a result of the economic blockade and war on Syria. Abu Ammar explained that the company specializes in the field of recycling mineral oils, manufacturing of raw materials for paints, and introducing the oil waste treatment industry to contribute to protecting the environment. Furthermore, Syrian detergent manufacturing companies, which cover the needs of the local market has a wide participation in Exp o Syria 2024, presenting products that reflect the development of local products and their ability to compete. Participants in the expo stressed the importance of this economic event that embraced Syrian industries of all kinds. They also affirmed the importance of local companies' presence in the expo after the recovery of production, especially the detergents industry sector, to restore the export market to its former glory, as the Syrian industrialist remains determined to prove the presence inside and outside his country. Participants pointed out that the exhibition is a window for the national industry towards neighboring countries, especially through the visit of Arab delegations to it from several countries, which contributes to revitalizing the national economy. During a tour paid on Saturday, Prime Minister in the caretaker government, Hussein Arnous said that Expo Syria 2024 will become annual, and the exhibition shows that there are industries in Syria that have become competitive and rise to t he level of the best existing industries.
