As part of its annual plan to promote safety among seafarers, the Coast Guard held awareness campaigns at Malikiya, Jaw and Askar beaches.

The activities were held in cooperation with Northern and Southern Governorate Police Directorates and the General Directorate of Media and Security Culture.

The campaigns highlighted general safety instructions, including not leaving children alone, wearing lifejackets, and only swimming in swimming-permitted areas. They included the distribution of multi-language leaflets.
