Death Toll from Israeli Aggression on Lebanon Rises to 886

Beirut: The death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon since March 2 has risen to 886, in addition to 2,141 wounded.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Disaster Risk Management Unit at the Lebanese Prime Minister's Office released the daily toll, noting 36 new deaths and 36 injuries. The report highlighted the severe humanitarian impact, detailing the widespread displacement affecting the region.

The total number of registered displaced persons has reached 1,049,328, with 132,742 individuals residing in collective shelters. The situation has led to 33,622 families taking refuge in these shelters, with 622 centers currently open to host displaced people. The ongoing conflict has particularly intensified in the southern parts of Lebanon, where military activities have escalated significantly.

Lebanese territory, especially the southern region, continues to experience heightened military actions by the Israeli forces. Since the escalation began, 2,235 Israeli attacks have been recorded, adding to the ongoing tensions in the region.
