Gaza city: Medical sources in the Gaza Strip said that the death toll from the Israeli offensive has risen to 72,333 people and 172,202 injured since the start of the offensive on October 7, 2023.
According to Qatar News Agency, hospitals in Gaza received four new martyrs and 10 injuries over the past 24 hours. The sources reported these figures as part of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the region.
They added that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 754, with total injuries reaching 2,100, while 760 bodies have been recovered. This highlights the continued struggle in the aftermath of the offensive as efforts to provide aid are ongoing.
The sources also indicated that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and rescue teams are still unable to reach them. The situation continues to be dire, with challenges in delivering necessary medical assistance to those in need.
