Dr. Yousef Al Maslamani, Medical Director of Hamad General Hospital at Hamad Medical Corporation, confirmed that World Cup fans are obliged to take a PCR or rapid test before boarding the plane and coming to Qatar. He explained that showing the Hayya card for fans is a condition to get the free treatment.

Dr. Al Maslamani said that the policy for travel and return to the State of Qatar has been updated, and all those coming to Qatar are required to perform a negative test for Corona before boarding the plane, pointing out that there are two internationally approved tests, the PCR test or the rapid test.

Regarding the condition of Corona vaccination, Al Maslamani said that the vaccination condition was removed from the conditions for visitors to enter the country, the test condition before boarding the plane remains.
