Doha: Kuwait's Civil Aviation Authority said on Tuesday night that drones had targeted a fuel tank at Kuwait International Airport, causing a fire at the site.
According to Qatar News Agency, Abdullah Al Rajhi, the authority's official spokesperson, informed the Kuwait News Agency that, based on preliminary reports, the damage was limited to material losses, with no casualties reported.
He added that the relevant authorities immediately initiated approved emergency procedures, with firefighting teams and concerned agencies responding to the blaze, while all competent authorities were present at the scene.
