Earthquake Hits Faryab in Southeastern Iran

An earthquake measuring 4 magnitude on the Richter scale struck the city of Faryab in Kerman Province in southeastern Iran.

The Earthquake Monitoring Center at the Geophysics Institute of the University of Tehran reported on Monday that the tremor occurred at a depth of 28 kilometers.

So far, there have been no reports of possible damage caused by the tremor.

Yesterday, a 5-magnitude earthquake struck the city of Parsiyan in Hormozgan Province, southern Iran. No injuries or material damage were reported.
