Cairo: Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty discussed recent developments in Yemen and bilateral relations during a phone call on Thursday with Yemeni Prime Minister Shaya Mohsen Al Zindani.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement in which Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt's firm position on the Yemeni crisis. He emphasized the country's full support for Yemen's unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

The Egyptian foreign minister also conveyed Egypt's backing for a comprehensive and sustainable political solution to the crisis in Yemen.
