Cairo: The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the Arab Republic of Egypt will host an emergency Arab summit on February 27, 2025, in Cairo.

According to Qatar News Agency, the summit will be convened in coordination with the Kingdom of Bahrain, the current president of the Arab League summit, and the General Secretariat of the Arab League. The Egyptian Foreign Ministry issued a statement confirming these arrangements.

The ministry further elaborated that the decision to hold the summit followed extensive consultations and coordination at the highest levels with Arab countries, including the State of Palestine, which requested the summit. The summit will address the new and dangerous developments concerning the Palestinian cause.
