Gaza: Eight Palestinians were martyred and several others injured early Friday in a series of airstrikes carried out by Israeli occupation warplanes on various areas in northern and southern Gaza.
According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources confirmed that two people were martyred and others injured when an Israeli occupation strike targeted a school sheltering displaced families in the northwestern part of Gaza City.
The same sources reported that six Palestinians were martyred and others wounded when Israeli occupation forces bombed a tent sheltering displaced people in Al Mawasi area of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Strip.
Additionally, eight people were injured when artillery shelling struck two homes in the town of Jabalia, in northern Gaza.
The renewed attacks come after Israeli occupation forces detonated several residential buildings overnight in the northeastern areas of Gaza City.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza, now in its 21st month, left around 189,000 Palestinians either killed or injured – most of them children and women – alongside over 11,000 missing, hundreds of thousands displaced, and widespread famine that claimed many lives, including those of children.
