Gaza: Eight Palestinians were martyred and several others wounded in Israeli airstrikes Friday on the southern and northern Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources at Nasser Medical Complex reported that five Palestinians, including police officers, were martyred and several others wounded when an Israeli airstrike targeted a police vehicle in the Al Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Ministry of Interior in Gaza stated that Israeli warplanes targeted a police vehicle in Khan Younis, resulting in several deaths and injuries.
Three Palestinians from the same family were also martyred, and others wounded, by Israeli artillery fire that targeted a house near Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip.
Earlier Friday, two Palestinian police officers were killed, and others wounded when an Israeli drone targeted a police checkpoint in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, west of Gaza City.
The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which has been ongoing since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,568 martyrs and 172,338 wounded.
