Doha: Qatar SC ended their campaign on a winning note by defeating Al Duhail 4-2 in Week 22 of the 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League at the Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium of Qatar SC on Sunday. Yohan Boli scored a brace (13th and 22nd minutes), while Javi Martinez (66th minute) and Ben Malango (82nd minute) also got on the scorers' sheet for Qatar SC. Al Duhail's goals were scored by Khaled Mohammed (30th minute) and Michael Olunga (40th minute penalty). With the result, Qatar SC finished the season in eighth place with 25 points, while Al Duhail have 28 points and are in sixth position. Khaled Mohammed was the first to cut the deficit in the 30th minute with a powerful 25-yard thunderbolt of a shot before Olunga stepped up bravely to score from the spot in the 40th minute to give The Red Knights fans something to delight about. Al Duhail were reduced to 10 men 15 seconds after the start of second half, with Lucas Verissimo getting the walk after bagging his second successive yellow card. The Kings took advantage of their superior numbers as they took the lead through Martinez in the 66th minute. By the 82nd minute, it was the turn of Malango to add his name to the scorers and he did it in style by firing home the rebound after Ali Awad had missed a sitter, as Qatar SC got their fourth goal.
