Aden, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met Dr. Shaye Mohsen Al-Zindani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs of Yemen, in the temporary capital, Aden. Dr. Al Zayani visited Yemen as part of a tour that included several Arab countries. The meeting discussed the strong historical relations between the two countries and peoples in various fields, and means to enhance cooperation to serve common interests. The officials exchanged views on the current regional situations, the war on the Gaza Strip, and efforts to achieve a ceasefire, protect civilians, and deliver humanitarian aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip, as well as to establish peace, security, and stability in the region. Additionally, the two sides discussed the ongoing preparations for the upcoming 33rd Arab Summit hosted by Bahrain on May 16, including the summit's work programme, and the topics and issues scheduled to be included on the agenda of the meeting of Their Majesties, Excellencies, and H ighnesses the Arab leaders. The meeting was attended by Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Yemen; Ambassador Ahmed Mohammed Al Teraifi, the Chief of Arab and African Affairs; and Ambassador Saeed Abdul Khaliq Saeed, Director of the Coordination and Follow up Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
