Washington dc: French President Emmanuel Macron said that the peace agreement signed between DR Congo and Rwanda was a historic step forward. He highlighted that the agreement will end a conflict that led to the killing of thousands of civilians. He added that France called on the two countries to ensure the peace agreement holds.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two countries signed a peace agreement yesterday in Washington DC, in the presence of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the foreign ministers of the two countries.
