Riyadh: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi engaged in discussions with Pekka Haavisto, the Personal Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General to the Republic of Sudan, focusing on the latest developments in Sudan.

According to Qatar News Agency, Albudaiwi and Haavisto emphasized the need for extensive regional and international efforts to support a comprehensive political solution in Sudan.
