Hamad Medical Corporation Announces Eid Al Fitr Operating Schedule

Doha: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced the operating hours of its services during the Eid Al Fitr holiday. The schedule outlines the availability of various medical services and facilities during the festive period.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Trauma and Emergency Center at HMC will maintain its normal operations, providing 24-hour service, seven days a week for all medical emergencies. Similarly, the Pediatric Emergency Centers will be available around the clock to attend to emergencies involving children under the age of 14.

The Ambulance Service is set to continue its 24/7 operations, ensuring emergency medical assistance is available at all times. Additionally, the Nesma'ak 16060 call center and the 16000 Government Healthcare Hotline will operate without interruption, remaining accessible to the public throughout the holiday.

HMC has scheduled a temporary closure for its Outpatient clinics and the Urgent Consultation Service from 17 March to 23 March, with services resuming on 24 March, 2026. The Pharmacy Home Delivery Service will not be available on 20 and 21 March but will operate from 8 am to 1 pm on 17 to 19 March and 22 to 23 March.

The National Mental Health Helpline will maintain its operations from 8 am to 6 pm, Saturday to Thursday, throughout the Eid holiday. Meanwhile, HMC's Diet and Nutrition Services will have specific hours of operation at different hospitals. At Hamad General Hospital, services will be available from 7 am to 12 pm from 17 to 23 March, excluding 20 and 21 March. At Al Wakra Hospital, services will be provided from 8 am to 1 pm from 17 to 23 March, with no service on 19, 20, and 21 March.
