London: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani attended a dinner banquet hosted by HE Lord Mayor of the City of London Alastair King at Mansion House in London, in honor of His Highness. According to Qatar News Agency, in his speech, HH the Amir expressed appreciation to His Excellency for the warm reception accorded to him and the accompanying delegation, highlighting the strong current and future ties between Qatar and the United Kingdom. These ties encompass cooperation in various fields such as economics, culture, education, and healthcare. His Highness emphasized that the relationship between the two countries would continue to flourish in all areas, advancing their mutual interests and contributing to addressing shared global challenges. The Lord Mayor of the City of London also delivered a speech, welcoming the state visit of HH the Amir to the United Kingdom and praising His Highness's efforts in enhancing the bilateral relations between the two countries. The banquet was attended by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, along with Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir. On the British side, a number of businessmen, senior officials, and guests were also present.
