Doha: HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani sent a cable of condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on the passing of HRH Princess Noura bint Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud.

According to Qatar News Agency, the gesture from HH the Deputy Amir underscores the close ties and mutual respect between the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The late Princess Noura was a respected member of the Saudi royal family, and her passing marks a moment of mourning for the nation.
