His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received at his residence in Abu Dhabi, UAE President His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Present were HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant-General HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Royal Guard Special Force Commander, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority (GSA) Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President Staff Colonel HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
During the meeting, HM the King expressed thanks and gratitude to the UAE President for his gracious visit, wishing him abundant health and happiness.
The two leaders exchanged cordial talks reflecting solid fraternal relations binding the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain and their peoples, wishing their countries lasting security, stability and prosperity.
They reiterated joint commitment to continue the path of fraternal consultations to the best of their peoples, and exchanged views regarding issues of common interest.
They also reviewed aspects of joint work across all fields in support of development efforts aimed to achieve their countries’ aspirations and interests.
HM the King hailed longstanding relations between the two countries which represent a model of joint interstate ties, based on bonds of fraternity, unified visions and stances as well as shared destiny.
HM the King wished the United Arab Emirates and its brotherly people continued development, progress and prosperity under its wise leadership.
The meeting was attended by UAE Deputy President, Deputy Prime Minister and Presidency Court Minister HH Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince HH Shaikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, HH Shaikh Dheyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, HH Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Special Affairs Advisor to the Presidency Court HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan.
Also present were HM the King’s Advisor for Diplomatic Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Royal Court Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and other senior officials.
