His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales, at Windsor Castle.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of His Royal Highness’s official visit to the UK.

His Royal Highness highlighted the strength of British-Bahraini ties, which span over 200 years and will continue to deepen, in line with the aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

His Royal Highness conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (UK) and Head of the Commonwealth, and to His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales. HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa also wished continued success and prosperity for the UK and its citizens.

His Royal Highness noted the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation across various fields to reach shared aspirations.

Regional and international issues of common interest were discussed.

The Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
