Manama, The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today met with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Alastair Long, at Gubaibiya Palace. The Deputy King affirmed that longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom are based on solid foundations and strategic partnerships. His Royal Highness highlighted the Kingdom's commitment to advance the Bahrain-UK partnership across various sectors to achieve mutual aspirations. The Deputy King highlighted that joint visits and agreements have consolidated the multisector bilateral collaboration currently in place. During the meeting, the latest regional and global developments were discussed, in which both parties affirmed that security and peace are the basis of development.
