Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to Lt.Gen. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor, Supreme Defence (SDC) Council Secretary-General and Royal Guard Commander on being promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-General.

The Minister of Interior extended deepest congratulations to HH Shaikh Nasser on the royal trust of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

The minister said that the promotion is in recognition of HH Shaikh Nasser's landmark achievements and contributions in all military, humanitarian and sports fields.

In the cable, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa wished HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad every success to continue his endeavors, under the leadership of HM the King, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
