The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested at least 22 Palestinian civilians in the West Bank today morning, within an operation that started yesterday, including a child and a journalist. In a joint statement, Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) said that most of the arrests took place in Al-Khalil Governorate, while the rest spread across the West Bank's governorates of Bethlehem, Ramallah and Occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds). The IOF continues to raid Al-Far'a refugee camp in Tubas. The arrests were accompanied by attacks and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to widespread acts of vandalism and destruction of citizens' homes, the statement added. The IOF has arrested more than 11,200 Palestinian civilians across the governorates of the West Bank (including Al-Quds), since the beginning of the Israeli occupation's ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Gaza Strip. This number is only a speculation as the act ual number of arrests is unknown, but it is certain that the IOF has arrested thousands of Palestinian civilians (including children, underage students, freed captives and Palestinian civilians in general). The policy of systematic arrests is one of the Israeli occupation's most prominent established policies, used by the occupation to undermine any kind of resistance against it.
