Iraq and Canada discussed cooperation in the fields of combating human trafficking and money laundering. A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Iraqi Ambassador to Canada, Abdul Rahman Hamid Al-Husseini, met with the Undersecretary of the Canadian Ministry of Public Safety, Shawn Topper, and during the meeting, the prospects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries were discussed, especially in the fields of combating human trafficking, cybercrimes, money laundering, and drug trafficking. During the meeting, Topper expressed Canada's readiness to cooperate in these fields and all fields related to internal security, and to exchange experiences between the two friendly countries.
